i wish so badly that everyone around me would stop talking about their love interests, their "boy toys", their boy/girlfriends, whatever!  i don't want to fucking hear it anymore.  i've been single for nearly 4 years, i don't want to know.  it's tough for me to find someone, let alone hear it from someone i have interest in.  it depresses me and drives me to smoke and drink.  i'm not happy with my situation and it only makes it worse.

another thing, work.  i've wanted to take up a management position for over 6 months now.  i have bent over backwards for them.  i've even helped them out, so it's not like i don't have the experience.  and when i do help out, i don't hear one "thank you".  and yet when my friend helps out for one day, she gets pulled into the office, is thanked, and is asked to take the test and that she had better pass it (meaning they want her up there ASAP).  FUCKING BULLSHIT!

it's not that i'm not happy for her, i think it's great, but what do i have to prove!?!?  what did she do that i haven't done!?!?  they declined me, and never gave me a reason.  if they gave me a legitiment reason, i wouldn't be so angry, but from my point of view, it's utter shit.

and school.  holy crap, i could strangle my instructor all day long if i had the chance.  he teaches us squat and expects us to know how to do advanced cabinetmaking when all of his students com from different backgrounds.  i'm tired of this.  i'm lagging behind because this is shit i've never touched in my life.  we are literally asking each other how to do things.  that's not learning, that's asking someone else.  i came to this college to learn, not to ask the person closest to me how to do it.

i'm at my wit's end.  i have to get this out for my own sanity.

but if you insist.......its based more on my fucked up ability to socially isolate myself for 4 years only to come out understanding that ive missed  a lot...if that made any sense what soever...but im imprioving in my social skills...im growing...so the answer to your question is taht im not on the same page as you...but i can somewhat have a sense of frustration too...

the sarcasm at the start of your broken sentence threw me off from the intent of your initial post.  i understand what you mean now.

while i understand your frustration, (call me stubborn or rude or whatever) i'd much rather be single up to this point than have 7 broken relationships that meant squat to my "significant other".  and frankly, i don't need anyone to be on the same page as me (or something along that nature) because who does that help?
not saying your situation means nothing to me, but on the topic of me venting, how does it solve anything?  that's just like me posting in your topic when you need help and i say i have it worse and you shouldn't complain.  it could just go down the food chain then.  all the way down to the homeless.  what's the point?
