I don't really understand what you're asking - you want an office job over the course of two semesters that you are taking off? You're concerned that you want to continue the job after returning to school?

First thing is to compile a good resume, and then hand it out to potential employers, followed up by an interested phone call in a week or so. At your interview, be clear about your hourly expectations and where your schedule is apt to change.

One of my first jobs in college was as a student worker on campus. They are very flexible with your schedule and you usually work between 10-20 hours a week. Student Ambassadors often get paid as well and Resident Assistants (free housing!). Check with your school about jobs on campus or go to the head of your degree program and ask if they have any client referral programs, so you can work within the field you are studying. Often, these employers realize you are a student and are much more flexible with your schedule.
