so my cat had kittens like 3 days ago i think && my mom said that you were'nt supposed to even touch them until 6 weeks but i dnt beleeve that &&i know like u cant keep picking them up cause that'l kill && bruise them but like..how long till you can pick them up?

u can pick them up after a few days.. like 5 days... but u dont want the momma to see

I'd wait atleast a week or two, mothering cats can be very protective. The mother cat can also reject them if they smell like humans and then you'd have to hand rear them

In all honesty, Ive always picked them up the day they were born...mostly to move them to a safe spot. My last barn cat had her kittens in my horses hay bin, so i had to move them, and when i did they were fine. and i handled them a bit every few days just to check on them...

I've NEVER had a problem with a cat rejecting her kittens, but yes, it can and does happen....
