So I have my ubuntu ultimate desktop and suse linux laptop hooked together into a wireless router with ethernet. I can use ssh on my desktop to my laptop but not from my laptop to my desktop. I also tried it to the other ubuntu desktop in the basement with my laptop but it wouldn't work. i even ssh loopback ip adress but it would ask do the setup of the connection like it was for the first time. I tried to look the stuff up online and i got no answer to why it wouldn't work. Does anyone know how to set this up?

I would be inclined to suspect that the desktop firewall settings are blocking incoming SSH connections.

but the thing about it is that i wouldnt work the first few times and then it started to then it wouldnt...only if it would make up its mind.
