I am now finally an Intellectual! -- LiveWire Teen Forums

It took me three times, but like they say, third time's the charm! I'm finally an Intellectual! And for those of you who would like to question why, here was my essay:

I would like to become an Intellectual because I am incredibly intelligent and enjoy the matters of the mind, such as psychology, philosophy, and psychosis. I enjoy the works of Socrates and Plato, two Greek Philosophers who divulged in the secrets and mysteries of life and attached meaning to those things in which meaning had yet to have been attached. I am currently on a four-year High School Guidance Plan to earn my High School Diploma and obtain the High School courses I will need to study Philosophy and Psychology as my majors in a decent college. I hope to become a psychologist someday because I love to discover the nature of human being's minds, and why they have turned out like they have. I would then like to conclude that sometimes tragic and terrifying events from the childhood causes mental and emotional scars on the challenged adult, which then causes a chain reaction of pent-up hatred, jealousy, and finally revenge on those who have caused them pain or simply those who were involved or near the event during this time. For example, if a person is scared of their neck being touched whatsoever, their could have been a slight chance that they were mistreated as a child or they could have even been wrapped in their umbilical cord in their mother's womb. Another example would be if a woman is scared of masked strangers wearing long capes or trench coats. She could have easily been frightened by a tall man wearing a long cape or trench coat, or even had a horrifying ordeal with the individual in question. I love to figure out puzzles and mysteries, because the more of the unknown you discover, the less that is unknown, which means the more we know, the better chance we have of making advances in our technology and several thousand problems presented with humanity today. These include but are certainly not limited to: Global Warming, Nuclear Wars, Space Intelligence (possible UFO's and Aliens), rape, abuse, incest, abortion, discrimination, racial injustice, Prejudice indications, slavery, disease, and the growing number of traumatized children. Some mysteries I would love to solve one day are some of the following: the whereabouts of the Government's Top Secret Documents, the ever-expanding Universe, what exactly happens after death and why in the world is the crime rate continuously growing? There are rare occasions when I need a break from over-analyzing every single detail that is presented to me during the day, in which case I love to relax my mind and listen to music, a favorite pastime of mine. I have never minded when someone asks me a question, for I am usually ready to answer them with an extremely detailed and creative reply which I usually believe to be mostly correct. What I am trying to say is that I would love to become an Intellectual and discover the feelings, emotions, and beliefs of others an intellectually capable as myself.
