Here is my problem. If I have money I will buy my boyfriend anything I can if I don't have to pay bills or something.
 
 On holidays like Easter, Christmas, and Valentines Day I make a big deal out of it and I have to get him something special. Well for example on Easter I got him a Easter basket with other stuff he wanted clothes and what not. For Christmas I bought him clothes, a $160 dollar game, and some other little stuff like cologne. For Valentines Day I made him a cake in the shape of a heart and cooked him diner and got him candy and a stuffed dog.
 
 You would think he would get me something nice for those things too. He didn't I ended up getting a few undershirts for Christmas, nothing for Easter, and for Valentines day he bought me a card and went to his parents and stole m&m's from his mom to give to me. I don't want to sound materialistic but I feel like he is really cheap and it sort of makes me feel like he doesn't care very much about me. He always is buying himself stupid stuff that he doesn't even need. I don't want to tell him how to spend his money but to treat me every once in a while would be nice. Am I wrong here?

My ex was an ass like that too, he made $12.50 hr and didn't have to pay ANY bills, he just spent it on stupid crap for himself. He was so tight that when I wanted to go to a movie or something and pay for my own ticket he didn't want to go because he didn't want to spend his money on that, what an ass.
