Im trying to use Cberlink PowerDirector... as it's the only damn program that accepts *.MOD video format (the format the hard-drive based camera saves shit it).

Since i refuse to use this shitty, primitive program, i am going to make each clip into it's own movie, in AVI format.
It says for my computer's hard drive:

Used space : 61.2GB
Free After : 50.6GB
Remaining  : 1.1 GB

so does it mean, when i make this clip into an AVI movie, it will be a 49.5 GB video?

Why give a man a light and keep him warm for a night when you can set a
man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life? *thanks*

Usually you can work out how much space it will take up by comparing the used space and the free after data.

61.2 - 50.6 = 10.6GB.

I'm not sure where the 1.1GB 'remaining' comes in though.
