So I was extremely bored tonight and nobody was able to hang out until about 10pm, so in my boredom(and during a session of cod4) I was curious as to what cooking oil would do if I put it in my hair. I figured what's the worst that could happen, so I put in about 1/8 of a cup and scrubbed it around in my hair, and the effect, well.....IT WAS AMAZING!!!! My hair looks and feels and does exactly what I want it to. Sleek, shiny, and still moveable, and doesn't look greasy. My mom came home and was like "What'd you do to your hair, it looks really cute" and my step-bro said the same, kinda. So for any guys out there that have a boring saturday, you might wanna try it out, because I'll be doing it again real soon.

Eeeesh.

I figure oil would make my hair look... oily.

But then again I have pretty oily hair to begin with... oh well.

Well it looks pretty cool. Just depends on what type of hair you want. I combed it out with a fine tooth comb and then rubbed it out with a dry wash cloth to soak up all excess. Before it looked weird but after I rubbed it out and combed it looked much better. And it doesn't look like greesy or oily, looks like I used a product.

You should really try it. Don't know how it'd work on a girl but worked good for me. My hair is about 2 1/2 inches long.

I think it was peanut oil but that is almost exactly the same stuff as vegetable or canola oil, same smell, color, and texture so idk. But I would never use olive oil because it has a strong odor.
