Yes; in science, a theory is an explanation of how things happened. When we're talking about science, that is what is meant by the word "theory." None of your definitions apply.

Go back to kindergarten, little girl.

tell that to the dictionary. I Got all those from the dictionary...you go back to kindergarten.

Watch the History channel program Beyond the Big Bang. It's all scientific information, no magic, phrophecy stuff here...just cold hard facts.

Remember, if the Catholic Church had their way, we would all still believe that the Earth is the center of the Universe.

Scientist do not know everything meaning that everything they say aren't cold hard facts. DUH! Its called the big bang theory. And has it been proven yet that it was because of the big bang that we are all in existance. I think you should pay a little more attention.

Ah my dear woman. The difference is that Science does not deceive. It Acknowledges the fact that it does NOT know everything. Science is a process. A process of Reason and Logic that combined that predict Truth. Science is the search for Knowledge, a Search oor things that can be PROVEN. Religion is CONTRARY to Science in that it is based on FAITH. Faith is mearly an opinion. Faith is for the weak, that dare not try to understand the meaning of things, but are content to give up their free will and obey their masters.

what the hell are you talking about?

When it comes to science, a dictionary is a rubbish source for definitions. Go look up the definition of "theory" in an actual science text, and then maybe we big kids will stop laughing at you.

—Synonyms 1. Theory, hypothesis are used in non-technical contexts to mean an untested idea or opinion. A theory in technical use is a more or less verified or established explanation accounting for known facts or phenomena: the theory of relativity. A hypothesis is a conjecture put forth as a possible explanation of phenomena or relations, which serves as a basis of argument or experimentation to reach the truth: This idea is only a hypothesis.

will this shut you up. Scientific enough.

You can stop calling me little girl. I'm grown. Matter of fact the name calling is a little juvenile, don't you think. Time to grow up.

Which is ironic coming from you, little girl. Perhaps you should get a clue, read a book and actually learn something so you can earn the respect you've lost here.

I believe in the big bang and evolution.

But I also believe in a universal energy, which some would perhaps call God. I believe that there is a fundamental force that drives everyone and everything. Haha, Star Wars-esque, eh? Like...use the Force, Luke.

But anyway. I don't believe that the Big Bang was a coincidence. I don't believe that evolution was coincidence.

I don't believe that God literally created everything. In my opinion, the idea of an intelligent being or force that created the fundamental elements for everything and the universal patterns of math and nature is much more respectable than one who just makes everything appear by snapping his finger whenever he feels humored to do so.

I believe in destiny. Or rather, I believe that there are certain things that are just meant to happen in our world.

I can't explain it further. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I believe.

But that's what I've come up with so far. It probably doesn't make much sense.

If it was just me, I'd say you shouldn't care, as one person's opinion is meaningless. I can, however, say with a healthy amount of assurance that the majority of people on this forum think that you are a moron and a douche, and not worth the time it takes to read your posts.

Mmkay. Just don't expect anyone to take anything you say seriously, with that kind of attitude.
