The scholarship I'm applying for states that "a separate essay of no more than 1,000 words on a topic of your choice is required within the enclosed application" and I'm wondering if 357 words will be enough. See, I'm behind in filling this stuff out. My school screwed up and didn't give me the required paperwork when they were supposed to months ago so now I'm rushing to get it all done. I don't really want to have to think of a topic last minute, research it, and then type up a whole new essay so I looked up an old essay of mine that I was quite proud of. It's well written (I showed it to my parents and my Gram without telling them I'd written it, asked them what they thought, and then told them it was mine. They were shocked.
) so I'm thinking its only being 357 words long won't matter. It was longer at first but I had to cut it short, I'd gone over the limit.
Think it'd be okay?
