Sorry if this topic has been made recently.  

So what are your views on intelligence?  Do you believe it is in anyway heriditary, or purely down to the environment you are brought up in?

I'm inclined to believe the latter, though I do accept that having intellectual parents who encourage you academically and talk intelligently around you while you are growing up do influence your academic "capability" in later life.

i think its a load of bs. everyone has the will to study and make something out of them self, u dont need to have smart parents. so that u can become smart. it mostly depends on (what i think) who your parents acted. eg - struggled tp provide for you, so you know how it is to not have education, so u will work harder to become something... can anyone understand what the heck i am saying??
