Can someone describe to me what happens to someone with schizophrenia when they fall in love, what do they feel and how do they acknowledge the feelings? Is falling in love the same as someone who does not suffer from schizophrenia?

Even if you know someone personally with schizophrenia and know of their feelings to the above question, could you please respond.

People with schizophrenia might experience symptoms such as thought disorder, perceptual & attentional distortions, emotional disturbance, deteriorating life functioning including loss of social contact, hallucinations, delusions, bizzare behavior, apathy and withdrawal. Obviously, these common symptoms might make it difficult for people with schizophrenia to form good, lasting relationships. ie love.
