virus scanner + the sims 2?

It runs fine with things in the backround on mine. Of course, Crysis runs fine with items in the backround to  

Anyways, its fine. Just disable it, and then re-enable it later.

Its not a big deal.

AV Programs tend to use ALOT of resource, and your computer just cant handle that little bit extra in the backround.

The Sims 2 utilises a lot of CPU power / RAM.  Therefore running it with a minimal set of other programs open at the same time is advised.

Out of interest, what anti-virus software do you use, and what are your system specifications?
