I'm going on vacation and wanted to know if it's possible to lose 10 pounds by April 5th with workout and diet.

Any help?

Yeah just work out and control your eating habits/eat healthy.

It's perfectly possible, in fact if you do it right you could possibly lose more....my boyfriends cousin wasn't even fat and she lost A LOT of weight in a month or two...

If you write down your calorie intake, it's suppose to help...?

Just keep telling yourself that the work you're doing isn't enough, that you can work harder.

A lot of times people will start to diet and workout and whatever, and at the first sign of results, revert back to their old habits. You have to SURPASS where you want to be, particularly when you factor in the buffer weight you'll gain by easing off the weight loss regimen.

Losing 10lbs in 12 days would technically be do-able, but losing weight that fast would take pretty drastic measures and would be pretty unhealthy... and a lot of the weight would probably be water weight and come right back. To lose a pound, you have to burn 3,500 calories more than you eat. i.e., if your body is used to you eating 2,000 calories, and you start eating 1,000 calories a day, you'll burn 7,000 extra calories in a week, which is equal to losing 2 pounds. Then i fyou work out on top of that, you can burn even more, and lose faster. But to lose around 10lbs in 12 days, you'd have to be burning 3,000 calories a day more than you're eating... i.e., if you were eating NOTHING, and your body were used to burning 2,000 calories just to keep you alive, then you were working out for two hours a day to burn another 1,000, you could lose that much. Also, when you lose weight fast, you tend to get dehydrated, so sometimes you're not actually burning that much, but your weight is dropping from the water weight loss. But if you stick with keeping your calories really low, and work out a few hours a day, you should be able to do it... not that I would recommend that, though!! Also keep in mind that, if you lose weight rapidly right before your trip, then start eating normall on the vacation, by the end of the trip, you're likely to have gained it back...
