okay what tards are voting no?
The retards that realize some sites require you to use IE.

 yes, some... not that many.

and if they need it, they can install it again

Then what the point of doing it in the first place?
, just face the facts, you fail.

the point of doing it, is to try to get people to stop using internet explorer.
if people stop using it, the websites that require it will start switching ti cross-browser compatibility.

so you're wrong. you fail.

You lot are all fucking idiots. iirc IE6 (explorer.exe) is an integral part of the operating system and takes great difficulty and causes many inconvenience to uninstall.

fine, we'll just have it install firefox, and set itself as the default operating system

I agree. Its the most inconvenient thing ever, like, I removed the program and everything. Is it gone? Hell no.

 Oh that would be me.

why?

No, because IE can be just as secure as Firefox if it is locked down properly.  Even more so.

And what concern is it of yours what browser other people use?

I do agree that Firefox is better, but deal with it.

Say I were an Opera user (sometimes I am), would you make me change to FF?  I do not agree with changing other people's computers.  When they are prepared to see the light then they can chose to do so themselves.

IE has been recorded to be less usable then firefox. It has a slower startup time than firefox. It loads webpages slower than firefox ect. Many websites that use ActiveX do require you to use IE so it is still needed.
