The amount of force they exert on each other is equal, but the directions of the forces are opposite.
------- Your everlasting summer, you can see it fadin' fast. So you grab a piece of somethin' that you think is gonna last. Well, you wouldn't even know a diamond if you held it in your hand. The things you think are precious I can't understand.

well opposite magnets are an example and uhm that sentence means that when two forces (such as objects) interact as in are around eachother or collide then they must be equal meaning equivilent to eachother and they are opposite forces so they like go in the opposite direction i mean (what u said was pretty straight foward i hope u understand im not 100% if that is right either tho)

take two oranges and roll them towards each other, on their own the have a action when the hit they exert force on each other causing hem to reverse direction or the opposite reaction

The force that you exert on the ground, will be exerted in the opposite direction by the ground. It's a fundamental rule of physics that any balancing object will exert forces equal and opposite to the point where they "interact".

the two forces that the bodies cause on each other are opposite, but because they are equal, there is no visable effect on either body.

gravity and inertia. gravity, the force that pulls us toward an object of greater mass, wants us to go toward the sun. inertia, an objects desire to stay stationary or keep moving the orgininal direction, wants us to keep moving in a straight line. thats why we orbit the sun.
