Healthy dieting?

I have a problem with disordered eating. I've never had an official eating disorder or anything but I have times when I will fast and engage in unhealthy eating habits. Basically instead of going on a diet I'll stop eating until I'm satisfied with my weight or give in and be hungry.

My thighs are getting a bit chubby. I could stand to lose a few lbs and tone up. I'm going to start exersizing after spring break and when I get over this cold (I have a terrible case of "omg my lungs I can't breathe" which I'm on antibiotics for). I'm just worried that instead of toning up and getting myself back to a healthy active figure that I've had in the past, I'm going to go overboard and make myself sick.

Do you know anywhere I can go to find a healthy way to diet? I've looked all over the internet but all the diets I've seen can easily be taken too far....

Healthy eating isn't a diet.

It's a lifestyle change.

If you accomplish this, you will achieve and maintain a healthy weight.

I'm 120 lbs 5' 3"

I want to be back in the 110 range.

I don't want to go as far as the 90's like when i was getting sick.

I just want to lose the pudginess.

I try to eat healthy.. 2-3 meals a day, average portions, usually good selections.

I'm not as active as I'd like to be due to uni and all, but I plan to exersize more...

As I said, I just don't know how to do that in a healthy way because I've never really needed to... and I don't know where to find out.
