I miss the mary tyler moore show. that show was absolutely awesome. they should have syndicated that show(in other words, made it to where it can be seen all the time).

haha! that was actually the first line, by chance, that I saw of that show! I especially loved the ending...though it made me cry. Those were real tears, not just acting. ugh, I cried for three hours.

i think back in those times, it was unusual for a woman to be mary's age & unwed & supporting herself & living alone. she was so independent! & her and rhoda were so cute as friends.

I don't even think most actors and actresses today can even emulate the skills of those actors...
and yes, when they were all huddled together crying, was the last episode. I bet the first time that aired, most of america was in tears...
