My mom is going to be having another baby. She hasn't even mentioned it to me, it was my Dad.
So I can't even talk to her about it. I am 19, my brother is 22, my sister is 18. I just think its awkward, and my mom is starting to show, still hasn't even said a word to me about it.

I am just wondering how to break the ice and get her to open up?

Has your father told you not to say anything to her about it?  

20 year gap is pretty big, but I wouldn't consider it unheard of.  I would just wait it out until she says something.  She is bound to open up about it sometime, just be patient and let her do it on her own pace.

Your mother is probably going through the same situation that you are. It's important in any relationship to have good communication. You could try sitting down with her and telling her you know. Try telling her that you love her, and that you want to support her in any way that you can.

Chances are, she may just be waiting for the right moment to tell you.
