does anyone know where i can go to file my taxes for free? i only made like 5000 dollars in the whole year but i cant find a place that lets me file my taxes for free.

lol. i don't know over here in my part of the world they have a program where they do it for free. so i look around in your community. :D or do it at home. and struggle and stress. it'll be fun then you can learn how to do it. then tell other people that you can do it. then charge them to do theirs. :D

You can use turbotax, I think federal is free but you have to pay to do the state... I think. I have used it two years now, it's like "click money, click money" haha. I already got my refund!

go to taxact website Federal is free, state comes out to like 12$ or something close to that.
But if you wanna save that $12, it's easy to print off the taxform from your state's dept of revenue website, they also have instructions you can print off. It's really simple, you fill in a few numbers and it's done.
Check out IRS.gov, they have a link that allows you to file for free if you meet certain criteria. You can always check with community center too for free tax help (Libraries also) and then send it in by mail to avoid filing fees.
