yes, an awful one by microsoft. You can always tell a page made in FrontPage. -- they are buggy and very similar in appearance. vitamin

Frontpage is another mircrosoft product. It is by far the worst HTML editor there is on the market, and the best is because it's microsoft, people use it like crazy ! (one more thing...when you use it, it adds its own extentions which alot of servers don't understand!)

I used frontpage for one website. I got pretty far, then when you "freehand" the images they go wacko!   You put it in the middle of the page, then when you preview it, you find it at the bottom left corner! wtf!  :p

Ah okay *cracks fingers*

Front page is a WYSIWYG Editor, part of the Microsoft office family. Ofcourse, microsoft bought out the original creators of this software, for cheap.. Well they were hopeless anyway i guess, the original creators only sold a few thousand copies.. Anywho, Frontpage has tons of gimmicks, tools, and when you have all these cute features it makes you wonder what 99% of the time you dont WYSIWYG

Its a CRAPPY HTML editor. Thats what it is. Me and my web-designer collegues always say when we see a crappy website, "yup.. tehy used frontpage"

Its pretty much a tool for your average 13 year old to set up a "personal web page" type thing. Thats about all its good for.

If youre a serious web developer, you shoudl get Macromedia Dreamweaver MX...

actually FP used to be from a different company.  MS bought the product and hired the company staff (20 or so) to work under MS.  heh, just like QDOS and MSDOS.  peh
