I'm an atheist. This was a well-thought out, informed decision. There are many theists who I respect because I also believe that they have arrived at their beliefs through personal intellect and thorough reasoning.

I HATE HOW MUCH ATHEISTS ARE DISRESPECTED! Sheesh! Most religions are able to respect all other theists at most, and make no effort to extend the respect towards atheists.

I AM NOT AN ATHEIST BECAUSE I "HATE THE WORLD." I am loving life. I'm just fascinated by philosophy and how things came to be this way and I'm enjoying exploring my own religion.

It is fairly close-minded of the secular world to look down upon Atheism. It's really unfortunate and, in essence, simply ignorant.
Atheism scares people. That lack of faith that they base their very lives upon is such a frightening, foreign, unheard of theology that they couldn't possibly bare to acknowledge its possibility... even out of mere respect.

Sad but true.

No, actually, most Atheists refrain from saying anything at all simply because they don't want to be seen as an attention-whoring pretentious git.
