But it's okay for you to attack theists

I'm having trouble recalling where I attacked theists, or even where I said that it was okay to do so. Remind me?

Here it is:

I'm an atheist.

I didn't read any further than that.

most atheists seem to say they're atheist simply because they're pretentious and like the attention (bc it always starts a debate).

No, actually, most Atheists refrain from saying anything at all simply because they don't want to be seen as an attention-whoring pretentious git.

That doesn't mean that all atheists who announce their views are attention-whoring pretentious gits, however.

lol ok. I'd consider myself agnostic. Anyone can believe whatever they wish, or not believe. Whatever gives someone comfort and helps them through life is a good thing. It just gets rather annoying when 13 year old kids wearing all black have to announce to everyone that they're atheist. Those naive people that base their so called 'atheism' are only doing it for the attention it gives them. You can't tell me that "most atheists" refrain from saying anything. Every person I've ever come across that considers themselves atheist has brought it up because they like starting the debate on religion. Just like you're doing right now.

Or, perhaps you just don't know that they consider themselves atheists because they've never brought it up?

I'd consider myself agnostic.

Agnosticism is not a position on God, it's a position on knowledge. You're still a theist or an atheist.

when did I say I believed in God? I just said I was agnostic. nothing further. I'm not supporting one side or the other. I'm open to the idea of many religions, i'm just not fully convinced by them.

Now there's a mindfuck for you.

I believe in Jesus.  You don't.  It's cool.  Just as long as you're not one of those Athiests who celebrate Christmas....

I don't understand how that works...

I have a belief in something, I just don't know what it is. It might be God, i'm not sure though.

Christmas is a pagan holiday, and belief in Jesus Christ as the savior isn't a requisite of its celebration.
