Scientific theory, meaning it has a pretty strong base of evidence and supporting data.
That's not to say it disproves God, because it doesn't, all it means is that Genesis can't be taken literally, which is true.

But what it does say is that god created the earth and the humans and everything, which isn't true, and that is what is disproved by natural selection.

But, what i am saying is that it disproves the literal interpretation of the bible, which is what most people follow.
