The flu, as you most likely already know, is a virus. This means that it can't be cured(Im sure you already knew that...). You can't get rid of it with any drugs. You can treat the symptoms, but you really just have to wait it out - let it run its cycle.

You can prevent it by getting a vaccine though. You might want to look into that before next year's flu season, before they the vaccine runs out like it ALWAYSSSS does...

There are also different types of influenza. Some are more severe than others, but you probably have influenza B since it is the most common form of influenza.

Common symptoms of the flu are:
-fever
-headaches/migraines
-coughing
-sneezing
-nasal congestion
-body aches
-reddened eyes, mouth, throat, and nose.

The flu and cold are very similar to one another. They share many of the same symptoms, so it's not always easy differentiating from the two. Flu symptoms are more sever though, and to me, it sounds like you definitely have the flu rather than the cold.

Make sure you get plenty of rest. Drink alot of water (chicken soup is fine, too) and maybe take some medication to relieve the fever and headaches, if severe enough.

DO NOT TAKE ASPIRIN. Doing so can cause Reye's syndrome, which can be fatal to teenagers and small children, and we dont want you dead

I hope you get well soon.

(Geez, hopefully being this nice will pay off soon.)

I've noticed that only the male mods warn me, heh.

I don't blame them,I'd be jealous of a handsome devil such as myself also
