Hey. Definitely be supportive of your boyfriend. He will need all the support and encouragement he can get if he struggles with finding a job. If he doesn't succeed in finding a job, then you need to remind him to not give up. If he loses hope and quits searching, then that wont help either of you out financially or mentally. Now, about YOU: I don't believe you have no goals or aspirations. Surely there is something you look forward to. Think about where you want to be years down the road. Then think of the things you need to do to get there. Everyone has goals, but some people have trouble figuring out what their goals in life are. Maybe youre unsure, and that's perfectly fine. But as you fill out your resumes, think of all the things that you eventually want to do in life. Think of your interests - write them down. Your interests will help you identify your goals.
If you want to get your drive back, you have to think of your future. Like I said in the previous paragraph, you have to remind yourself of what you have to do to reach your goals. Then you have to set small goals for yourself and work on them to reach your long-term goals.
Surely theres a guidance counselor at school, but If you can't get any guidance from your school, then seek guidance somewhere else. There are people out there willing to help; you have to find them. And feel free to seek more advice on livewire, man. We're obviously not professionals, but we are always willing to listen and help as much as we can. And if you need more help, just message me bro. I'll try my best to help you out. Good luck.
