Why do men that don't drink a lot even bother to have a "few" beers? I asked once and he said it took the edge off his day and gave him a little "buzz." But to me it's like poison. And I don't trust anyone who drinks poison on purpose.

agreed. my parents caused me to bring myself to drink. of course, we only have wine... but it worked. i didnt get drunk, but just enough to make me not care as much...
