I'm interested in joining a sorority, and there was a flyer for a meet-and-greet with the sisters of this one sorority tonight. I have an hour and a half to decide if I want to go. I don't know anyone who's going and I'm horribly shy so I don't feel like it's a very good idea for me to go. But seeing as I do want to join a sorority I wonder if I should force myself to get over my social anxiety and just go. But ahh I'm too nervous. There's another option. One of the sisters of the sorority was my student ambassador when I visited the college last year so she kinda knows who I am. I could always just message her on facebook to ask about the sorority and what it's like and everything. That way I wouldn't have to go to this thing where I would have no one to talk to but I could still show my interest.
What should I do? Suck it up and go, just forget about it, or just message the sister I know?
