900 calories is downright anemic. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week (usually 4 or 5 times) for 90-120 min each time. I don't know how much you weight right now, but I wouldn't even recommend a 10-yr-old consume as little as 900 cal/day. I consume 2500-3000 cal/day and I have trouble just keeping on the weight that I have. I can't even imagine how quickly muscle mass, organ and blood health, and everything else would be effected if I dropped that low. You will lose weight like this, but you will lose a lot more health than any cosmetic gains you might get from losing that much weight using the method you plan on using.
