It's a new year, why not give your years old XP operating system a new look? If you're bored of having to look at the same kind of icons and eyecandy everytime, you can download and install these free transformation packs, and transform XP to look like any other OS.

.Vista Transformation Pack
.Mac OS Transformation Pack
.FlyakiteOSX
.Fedora Transformation Pack
.Ubuntu Transformation Pack

All Transformation Packs are for Windows XP, Installing them may change your systems performance. but if your feeling brave, stupid, or you have a super PC then try it out. here is a link to the source.

If you know of any other programs/sites which offers some cool ways to change the look of your system, please post them!

Thanks for reading.

Josh strongly disagrees with the vista transformation pack.

While it sorta makes windows XP look like vista... it does more damage than good.

That's my experience... I installed it but found myself never able to get my windows XP look back the same... let alone I lost alot of performance with it too. Ended up having to reformat my computer because it was unbearable.

Same Josh. Vista doesn't look that good either, and the trasnformation packs can affect your comps performance. (Vista transfo... the most) I've reformated because of it to.  the Ubuntu one is exellent, doesn't change the performancemuch, if any! and it's so easy to get back to normal.

just most people think Ubunutu looks boring, I just see a clean looking GUI. :)
