But a little less noob friendly.  I had a small fling with Ubuntu before making the switch to Fedora.  The newer Fedora versions have been very easy though.

Fedora is great it's like ubuntu but fedora is the way to go. Do not get X64 flashplayer don't work on X64 bit linux if you can't live without flash. some codecs don't work on x64 bit either. ATI drivers are bad on linux. just try it though see how it is.
