I have been lazy the few days I have been back from being on vacation for almost 2 weeks.  I was so busy this past semester of college and then had a vacation.  Now I am back home and need to go get a job but this laziness is so difficult to over come.  I don't feel like doing much now.

Also I am scared about getting a job because it will be really hard.  I think I am sort of screwed because of things I didn't do recently and over the last couple of years (didn't have any store job while I was in college and other things).  I have an associates degree in graphic design but didn't learn a program that companies use more than the one I know.  Also I don't like 2 things with graphic design that much (web design, and flash) so it makes things even tougher.  I then continued with college starting photography so it could add to my graphic design if I start my own business.

I am so scared now that I screwed myself over with the things I did and didn't do.  How will I get out of this lazy spell and how will I be able to get a job with not having the job experience they want?  AHH!!  Help me please.

Give me some advice please.

I don't know, I'm 17 and haven't had a job yet either. My mum suggested getting voluntary work so at least you get experience, you could maybe try that?

First of all, without job experience, you may need to start small.  Work at a grocery store/gas station/restaurant/etc.  This will allow other employers to let you know that you are reliable/dependable.

You could also try to be an intern for one of the companies you would like to work for.  If you don't know of a place where you would like to work, get out and look.

As for being lazy, that's something you are going to have to work on.  Don't ask people to help you get "unlazy."  The only person that can really help you get a move on is yourself.

You cannot earn money without putting forth work and effort.  So just get out there and try.  You can do it if you just go for it.

Good luck!
