I am really a believer that age doesn't matter. But I think that really applies with the older you get. Like a 25 year old and a 30 year old, no big deal.

But at the teenage years, you go through so many changes and just a few years difference you are very different emotionally. I being a college freshman could never go out with a sophmore, because I am just emtionally not at the same level as that person.

But if you two feel that you connect well, all the power to you!

Check out the wikipedia page. Dont know what its called but it has a graph on whats socially acceptable and how the age difference gets more lax as people get older. I personally had a five year age difference and it made me want to date people my age haha. But ya know, alot of guys are immature so girls go for older guys and blablabla.  
People just need to be able to sacrifice things, give and take, in a relationship. And that doesnt mean the younger person having sex because the older one is ready. .-.
