Okay, this is going to make me sound like a tramp, but I'm 18 and I've been on dates with 28 year olds. I think this is fine, but I never really intend on going any farther than maybe a kiss with them. I wouldn't consider having a "relationship" with a guy that much older - it's more a mutual understanding that we can flirt and such. I just find that I have a lot more in common with them in terms of interests and where I'm at, but at the end of the day, an age difference like that really does make me uncomfortable. I think 5 years older is my limit for serious relationships. And no minors - the 5 rule doesn't apply to 13 year olds - eek.

i used to consider 2 years the maximum, but i had a bf when i was 15 who was 20. i really wouldnt advise doing this bc i couldnt see him a lot so he ended up not exactly being a great bf. but if he treats you right, age is just a number.

Age is nothing but a number.
I say you can go the limit of being 23 and dating a 16 year old.
Nothing lower.
But it depends on those two people.

It depends on each particular couple or even each individual. If they are both comfortable with it and are mature enough to handle the difference and what people might say about them, it's fine. My boyfriend is 23 and I'm 17 and I barely even think about it. And we've been happily together for 7.5 months now and are only now talking about having sex soon, so it's not like he's just after me for sex. We were able to make a connection on an emotional as well as an intellectual level despite the age difference.

i think age ain't nothing but a number who cares how old you are as long as one person isn't 10 and the other is 72 then it don't matter you get me i am 14 so i don't really know much about love but love is the closest thing we have to magic so who are we to take that magic away from someone because of there age that is not fair i was madly in love  with an 19 year old but things didn't work out but not because of age it was living arrangements but anyway i loved him and no one was gonna take that from me no matter how hard they tried so age is just a number remember that

Well this topic has come up for me personally lately.
I'm 17 and the girl I liked was 14, we decided to date, but have been having some problems, especially along the lines of getting support for it from our parents. Personally, I believe age shouldn't matter however.

Well, as you said, TEEN dating, it doesn't seem to matter much since Teens are roughly the same age.
Now, in MissKate's case, thats a bit over the top.
