I run Win Xp HE also but I don't find it unstable.  Actually I like it.  But...we skipped a few versions.  We went form Win 95 right to XP HE so...LOL

I think MACs are kinda cool.  They have better componnts and programs for media and photos.

How could it be unstable? it's basically Windows XP Pro with a few removed features. Win2k is better though, I never liked that dog thing when I was searching for a file!

A few ppl have said that it can be unstable...

I wonder why I put the Windows 3.1 option in my poll. I doubt anyone ever uses that anymore.

I use Windows XP on this box, and i've got a couple of Red Hat boxes set up as web/file servers. I've used Gentoo Linux in the past, but it wasn't too good. I'm assuming the newer builds now are better and more stable.

I'd use Linux on my main machine, but regular usage programs, like messengers and things don't tend to be as functional on linux.

Wtf? I like how you list all the Windows systems and yet just group "linux" into one.

Dude.. it prolly just came with a Dell PC or somethin'. I use Windows Me and Windows 2000 Pro.

You make fun, but you use Windows ME...are you mental?
Though I do commend you on your second choice of OS's, Windows 2k Pro is the best Windows OS to date. All the reliability of XP Pro with none of the bullshit.

There's +100 distros of Linux. It would be better off putting them in sections (http://www.distrowatch.com). eg.
RedHat Based
Debian Based
Slackware Based
Source Code Based
LFS Based.

That would probably cover the most for so little amount.
