Problem with poll: can't select more than one. Oh well.

I use Windows XP Pro SP1, Gentoo Linux, and occasionally Fedora Core (linux).

I'll probably add Windows Vista Business ed. to that when it becomes available/affordable/practical.

Vista Beta 2, for the time being. I'm going to switch back later, or probably create another partition when I format.

I'm using XP Home SP2. I'm not against any other OS's simply because i'm too lazy to try them. However, i do use Mac OSX at college. I like the simplicity, but the tool bar not being locked to a window does confuse me. I think the ones we have at college are called G5 or G6 or something. They're apparently top of the range as they are used for digital recording of both sound and video via firewire. We use fully digital integrated mixing desks using firewire. According to the techies that work there, they say that using windows would mean they would never get anything done as far as the digital desks go. Apparently windows is a bitch when it comes to firewire.

Heh, not many things that I know of use firewire anyways. Mostly USB is living up to it's name. Hell, most of the time I need 3-4 USB ports just have everything I need hooked up. (Keyboard, Mouse, External HD, PDA cradle), not to mention things that moved in and out like the iPod, camera, scanner, printer, etc.

You mean Vista beta, Vista has not been released yet, and there's a huge difference.

I have a dual boot of Windows XP and Linux Ubuntu (Debian-type distro), though I use Linux a lot more. I only boot into Windows XP to play Warcraft 3.
