As a support leader, do you think it would be helpful if there was a support leader only wiki. This would serve as a quick reference for any issue that we may come across. People specializing in certain topics can write wiki pages that can help all support leaders. Even for those of us who are more knowledgeable in all aspects, such a resource would speed up our work, as we could quickly get the links and info we need when answering an ehelp. The wiki would have to be for support leaders only. - not designed for users to read but as a resource to us?

The wiki site is now live on www.supportleader.co.uk - Right now its pretty empty, so feel free to get creating pages :)

How do I register?
1) go here are register using the same user name as you use on LW
>> http://supportleader.co.uk/profile.php?mode=register
It looks like a register box from phpbb as it is. Phpbb is being used for member management. This has enabled me to release the project in a few hours, rather than days. Once you have registered here and been approved, you can use the wiki :)
2) Send me a PM in LW to say you have registered, this stops anyone else registering in your name.

A basic guide to getting started can be found here:

I just thought of this as I recently created myself a personal wiki, to organize things for myself, and store a number of info topics. I just realized how handy this could be for support leaders and LW as a whole.

I am not suggesting this is something that we should suggest to davjs, but a couple of us can always team up and create this external resource...

Lets face it, its a complete and utter mess now. We have two groups of little use, the odd topic here and there and the official resource page. Its un-ordered, inefficient and slow. Putting all our resources in one bag makes it easier when looking. Using a wiki makes it editable by all support leaders, and more importantly search-able...

FAQ:
>> Won't this turn support leaders into copy and pasters?
>> What will pages contain?
>> What else will the pages contain?
>> So how is this supposed to be different from everything else?
>> Can I help?
>> How can I gain access? [if this goes ahead]
>> How can I edit pages? [if this goes ahead]
