 They do deserve to be suspects, just as everybody else possibly related to the case. Nobody's accused anyone of anything. Jeez, can't people get that into their fucking brains?

Point is, the police have to do their job. Everyone connected with that case is a suspect - the people who were around when she disappeared, the people in the local area who might have been able to pass information, known human traffickers and people with records for kidnapping, and yes, her parents. It is plausible that they might have done it. It is very possible that they might have done it, and so they have to investigate that possibility.

If it were my child, yes, I would be distraught, but I would understand that I was a suspect because I had to be. If you're innocent, then you have nothing to hide.
