well i want to major in pre med but at the college I want to go to (CAU) they don't offer this direct pre-professional program. is there special courses that can be counted towards the pre-med major.

Yeah, I think so. You can major in whatever you'd like & just get the med school requirements

If you want to major in premed then your best bet is to go to a college that offer premed as a major.

Even if they don't offer a pre-med major, which very few schools do, they probably have a pre-med adviser who can suggest which classes to take. If not, they know that you need alot of biology and chemistry, plus a bit of physics and math. But there is a component of the MCAT that depends upon having strong English skills, so take a few such classes too, especially writing intensive ones.

pick a med school, anyone you like, see what their requirements are. i think most want 2 years of chem, 2 years of bio and so on. then just take those classes.

most people who want to go to med school major in biochem so you might want to consider that as your major.
