I use Xubuntu because it is what I learned, and what I've got. I haven't tried any other ones.

I used Kubuntu once, it wasn't bad. Prefer OSX as my main OS though

I like Ubuntu though I haven't experimented much with all the others.  I like gnome for its simplicity, but lately I've been noticing that KDE seems to come with the things I need that gnome doesn't.  I'm considering switching to Kubuntu for that reason, but I'm worried about stability.  I've heard Gnome is more stable than KDE.

Edubuntu, obvs.

How is that obvious?

I use Gnome (Ubuntu). I don't like how the variants of Ubuntu set up KDE or XFCE. Spend one week with Wolvix or PCLinuxOS, and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Gnome > all, so standard Ubuntu, although Ubuntu Studio looks quite nice too, and also uses Gnome.

But I use Fedora, because I like it more.

There's something called UbuntuStudio? I must try it. I used Xubuntu, Kubuntu, Ubuntu. I personally favour Ubuntu itself with Gnome. But I rather use OpenSUSE.

Ubuntu because it used GNOME.
But I strongly prefer using Fedora, then all I have to do is log out and so many possibilities for different window managers comes up.  I like fluxbox a lot, close between that and GNOME.

I now use a distro based on Ubuntu 7.04; Linux Mint.  Get the right version and it plays encrypted dvds and all media right after install.  Hell, even has an installing tool to get Nvidia and ATI drivers to install by themselves.

So far, I've only used Xubuntu.  I really liked it.  Although, for my next one, I'm going to try Kubuntu.  I used another distro with KDE, and ended up really liking it.

Ubuntu.  It's the only one I've tried and I'm perfectly satisfied with it.
