I think that if you played the part really well without the accent then he may pick you and just tell you to work on the accent. however if you didn't do well and someone who used the accent did then they will pick them

i mean, i sort of pulled myself together in the middle, but yea. i don't think i did well. also, everybody else was doing accents.
