Theres one, thats really annoying me, I always see it running in processes, it is running as Iexplore, I never use internet explorer, I have deleted all the files in the directory that it claims to be in except some which it won't let me delete because - they are running!!!
And the virus scanner won't find it when I scan - but will find it when it runs with the background protection thingy and says to scan for viruses...

How the hell do I kill it!!!!

its says its called downloader.crypter.c

Please god help me kill it!!!!

It detected it this time round though

won't let me delete it though... and I think by sending it to the recycle bin then recycling it I transphered it to that recycler one... umg... I want it dead... and now...

My drive is partitioned because my dad used an oldish version of fortran for work that doesn't work in xp (so we have a 98 part) ...you think if I run the antivirus from there it will be able to kill this thing? Ican't acces the net from 98...

or run msconfig ?

I would do that too and end most of those processes. I run 3 at start up. AVG, explorer and one I don't know what it is or how to turn it off.
