   There's no risk of information being leaked - the user doesn't have to repost. And if we're wrong and there's a good reason (and we'll always err on the side of caution), we'll put it back up :)

  But if you remove it when it first hits the fresh topics, the person who needs help won't get any help at all. If it was silly enough to be removed by error, it wouldn't be able to go into eHelp then. A repost of it would be considered spam.  

  So basically, the person is screwed.

 There's nothing stopping a person reposting a topic in eHelp - the kinds of help are very different and SLs should not trash eHelps for being similar to existing topics.  

 Then there's the fact that they can always make a new anonymous topic if the showing-up-in-fresh topics thing is particularly important.  

 The person is in no way screwed...

You're saying an eHelp saying, "How do you make popcorn?" would not be removed? And you're also saying that the user wouldn't be penalized for making a duplicate topic?

Scenario 1 - we remove a topic asking how to make popcorn for abuse of the anonymous feature
a) We were right and the user reposts it unanonymously. Like the trashing message specifically suggests and is specifically allowed.
b) We were wrong - there's a good reason for anonymity. We re-add the anonymous topic.
c) The lack of fresh-topics ness is so crippling for the user that we permit him/her to post it again anonymously.

As for the posts quoted, the last 2 could've quite plausibly had valid reasons for anonymity. The first one was just utter spam (given they'd kissed and made up after the second post)...
