You are paying more for a name though. You have been able to get smart phones that could do alot more for less and without a contract for a while now. You can get a regular phone, a zune, and a nokia700 for less than $400. That would let you do all the same things, but for a lot less. Heck, you could get an iPod touch and a camera phone and still spend less.
Paying for a name? If this was two pairs of similar shoes i'd understand. I've used Nokia Communicators and O2 XDAs in the past and none of them work as well as this. Granted they often have more advanced user features, but none of them work as brilliantly as iPhone apps, even the 3rd party ones. Also this is a good all in one device, obviously a Zune, an N95 and a Digital Camera would be far superior, but for an all in one package its mega.

Meh, to each his own. I personally just wouldnt pay so much for one. I dont deny that they are a good device, they are just over priced to me. Obviously some people arent going to think so, other wise they would have made it cost less.
