We got wireless internet a couple months ago and it was running PERFECT! Well, a couple weeks ago I get on on a FRIDAY and it just decides that it's going to refuse and not connect. Well, I try to fix it and that just made it worse and it wouldn't even read the router. Well, we called the internet people and they told me I was going to have to completely reset my whole connection and start over from square one.
I moved my computer into my living room to do this and what's awkward is, I get a better signal strength way off in my room than I do in the living room(where my modem and router are). I get the worst connection in the living room. I completely uninstalled and reinstalled all of my wireless devices and now they just straight up refuse to cooperate and will NOT connect no matter what I do. I don't GET THIS! I went to walmart today and bought a Linksys router because I have a linksys adapter and had a Belkin(router) because I thought that might have something to do with it, but it doesn't. Why is wireless internet such a pain in the ass??? I hear nothing but good things about it! I feel like it's killing me!!! Any advice?
