Just scales.... go up one note at a time

Madness does not always howl.
Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

i never warm up with a piano. try humming scales first thing in the morning when you know you will be singing, it really helps. 'un-gah' sounds really open your throat too. i also avoid dairy on singing days especially chocolate as it affects my tone.

if you really want piano accompiment you can by books of warm ups and exercises

Do lip trills to warm up the breath and keep it flowing.  Then sing scales, arpeggios, whatever, on a nasal hum to open your sound and help your vocal placement.  Next sing on vowels, remembering to keep your head, neck, jaw, shoulders, and body relaxed.  Then just sing.

And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.
