I just bought a pilates work out kit on impulse and i'm going to try it but I was wondering does it really work? How long before you see results?

For people who do it, does it improve your moods, sleeping habits, or help you lose weight faster?

I had friends in high school that said it works rather well. The one thing they always mentioned about it was to always make sure you do the moves properly as you could really screw something up.

My roommate did pilates over winter break and lost a lot of weight. I think how effective it is depends on how much and how often you work out. For ex. 2 x a day, 30 min. each is better than just one 20 minute session.

I keep meaning to do pilates too but I am just so lazy this winter. :oP
