Why? Practice
My skills: I have a fairly good syntactic understanding of C, and I'm just rusty as hell on Java. I need something to keep me occupied as well as being remotely purposeful, or I won't be able to keep myself working at it. Please, only Programmers who understand the implications of their suggestions reply. No "make a thing that will like hack facebook or soemthign lol" or "Make a version of Microsoft Word" etc. etc. Thanks,
