Coming out to your teacher, if you feel that you can trust her is one thing. Coming on to your teacher is a bad idea. You put both you and her in an awkward position. If she is not supportive of gays, then she may just be upset that you're gay and let it go at that. If she's not supportive and she thinks you are coming on to her, then she may be upset and let others know that you're "perverted." Nothing good can come of telling her that you have a crush on her. If she doesn't like it, life is going to be very uncomfortable between you two in the classroom or around school. Even if she shares your feelings, she would be put in the position of risking her career and her freedom by getting involved in anything with you. My advice, come out to her if you feel you must, but don't come on to her.
