At the campground that I work at, we see alot of interesting folks, but today I had a few visitors that really sparked my interest. They are two young men from France touring New York state, and they know very little English. I know some French, so our conversation was possible, but very strained. Anyways, when the guy came up to buy some ice, he invited me down to their site to visit later. I stopped by with a friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a while and had stopped by, and we had a good time. We brought them some firewood and rum, and they offered beer and cigarettes, which I politely declined and my friend accepted.
Nonetheless, we talked for an hour or so, and it was nice to learn some stuff about each other. They said they were here for a month to see the area and learn the language, and they asked me to stop by tomorrow night.
I know this thread was unnecessary, but it was a cool experience.
